Internal bus
  • Is a bus that is located strictly within a CPU.
  • Same like the word given internal normally communicate to the inner component of the system like CPU chip and connecting the rest of the system components to the CPU.
    External bus
    • Is supported by third party hardware & software, and more likely to adhere to one of a number of industry standards for buses.
    • Normally outside a CPU chip for connecting the rest of the system components to the CPU.
